Sean “Diddy” Combs’ kids addressed the “hurtful” rumors circulating about their family – including their late mom, Kim Porter – in the aftermath of their dad’s recent arrest.
Quincy, 33, Christian, 26, and 17-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila shared a joint statement via their respective Instagram accounts Tuesday night, marking the first time they’ve publicly spoken out since Combs was taken to jail on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship. As well as about our mom’s tragic passing. That we feel the need to speak out,” the four kids said in the statement.
The siblings addressed rumors suggesting that Diddy was involved in their mother’s passing, stating, “The cause of her death has long been established.”
They clarified, “There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we navigate this loss every day.”
The children expressed their deep sadness over how the public has turned their “most tragic event” into a spectacle.
“Our mother should be remembered as the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was,” they emphasized. “Her legacy should not be overshadowed by unfounded conspiracy theories.”
They concluded their statement by urging the public to honor their mother and cherish her memory, stating, “It’s what she deserves. We love you and miss you, Mommy.”

While the siblings did not directly address the allegations against their father, reports surfaced this week indicating that Diddy has been in contact with them from jail via phone calls. In addition to the four children he had with Porter, Diddy is the father of son Justin, 30, with stylist Misa Hylton, and daughter Chance, 18, with Sarah Chapman. He welcomed his youngest daughter, Love, with Dana Tran in October 2022.
Sources informed TMZ that his children are “standing behind” Combs amid the rising accusations.
Diddy was arrested on September 16, facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges and is currently on suicide watch while being held in a Brooklyn prison, where he has been denied bail.
In recent years, Diddy has faced multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault, including a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who accused him of rape and physical abuse throughout their 10-year relationship.
