Mountain goats often live on the steep cliffs of the Himalayas with excellent climbing abilities, but in these areas there is an equally skilled predator, the snow leopard!
They can run very quickly on steep, bumpy terrain thanks to their large, long tail to keep their balance. The color of the coat is also an advantage to help the snow leopard camouflage on the cliffs with few trees to hide.
Squeezed in a very difficult situation when the front is the cliff, behind is the enemy, even so, the mountain goat is also lucky to make the right decision in this moment!
In order to escape the snow leopard’s claws, it was forced to gallop forward even though it was on a precipice. Fortunately, there is a large river right below, so it can escape.
It is not easy to survive in an environment with dangerous mountain slopes like in the Himalayas, it is very difficult to find food, not to mention having to face predators. Animals like mountain goats always have to make quick decisions even if somewhat reckless!
