Machine Gun Kelly said the birth of his child with former fianceé Megan Fox will be “bittersweet” after the death of one of his best friends. The rapper took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Australian snowboarder Luke The Dingo Trembath, who Kelly described as a “rockstar”.
In a touching tribute, the 34-year-old said he felt Luke was “up there with my new child” and “getting ready to send them down” to him and mom Megan. The pair broke up in November last year, just two weeks after announcing they were expecting.
On Friday, March 7, Kelly paid tribute to his friend Trembath, saying: “Crazy I didnt even cry this hard when my dad died. Ive lost a lot of friends, but Ive never lost a brother.
Well never get another Dingo on this planet. A true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human Ive ever had the honor of knowing.
Ill miss your epic toasts, Ill miss dapping you up and my hand hurting everytime because you had some odd amount of Australian strength goin on, Ill miss your bellyflops.
“Ill miss watching you walk through the door and lifting the energy of every pivotal event in my adult life, Ill miss you p****** me off, but most of all Ill miss your laugh. you were the glue between all of us.
“Telling my daughter you’re gone was one of my hardest phone calls, because she loved you so much. Ill never forget when she was too young to understand your name was Dingo so she called you Ping Pong,” his message went on.
“I feel like your up there with my new child, dressed up in a hilarious costume making them laugh, getting ready to send them down. I couldnt ask for a more bittersweet birth blessing.
Life will always be less without you, but legends never die. Well all miss you brother.
The rocker’s post comes a week after it was reported that his ex Megan is leaning heavily on her older sister, Kristi Fox, as she awaits the arrival of her fourth child.
The actress already shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Megan is leaning on her sister Kristi amid her split from Colson, a source told Page Six, referring to the Rap Devil singer’s birth name, Colson Baker.
Despite their recent breakup, the insider ensured that the Bloody Valentine singer has every intention of being a present father in the childs life.
