Mark Zuckerberg Recreates Benson Boone’s Grammys Look for Wife Priscilla’s 40th Birthday, Jokes About ‘Snug’ Fit

Mark Zuckerberg celebrated his wife Priscilla Chan’s milestone 40th birthday in a memorable fashion, channeling singer Benson Boone’s viral Grammy performance. The Meta founder wore the same blue jumpsuit that Boone sported during his Grammy performance earlier this month, a rep for Zuckerberg confirmed to PEOPLE.
In an Instagram post shared on February 28, Zuckerberg, also 40, shared a video of his performance at the birthday bash. “Your wife only turns 40 once!” he joked, referencing the special occasion. “Shoutout to @bensonboone for the jumpsuit and new single.” Boone quickly responded in the comments, writing, “I can’t believe my eyes.”
In the video, Zuckerberg had two helpers rip off his tuxedo to reveal the blue jumpsuit underneath, mimicking Boone’s Grammy moment. Though Zuckerberg skipped the backflip off the piano — admitting in a comment that he considered attempting it — he still jumped off the instrument to the delight of Priscilla and other guests.
On his Instagram Story, Zuckerberg also humorously referenced another viral moment from Boone’s performance. Boone had received attention after adjusting his jumpsuit in a particularly revealing way during his set. Later, Boone apologized in an Instagram post, acknowledging the discomfort the jumpsuit caused.
Zuckerberg, embracing the snug fit of the suit, quipped, “Ok I get it… it’s pretty snug,” alongside a short video showing himself in the jumpsuit underneath his tuxedo.
In her own birthday post, Priscilla expressed her gratitude for the celebration, writing, “I turned forty surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and dance.” She added, “I am so so lucky to be so loved.”
